| When the following clips were recorded, the guitar had been strung for less than one week; intonation is set using my “new born” formula. In other words, final saddle reshaping and fine tweaking will take place after the instrument has settled in a few weeks. Martin XL Phosphor Bronze strings (not Marquis). Recordings were made using “Audacity” software on my HP ze2000 laptop with some generic analog sound card. The microphone used is a MXL V63 condenser, set about 15” from the 12th fret. No EQ in or out. Kevin does not use a thumb or finger picks. The flat pick is custom made solid Ebony. |
